How much does a first meeting cost?
Nothing. Your first meeting with an account manager is free. We'll look at what your business needs and send you a proposal recommending the services that would help most.
How much do your services cost?
Accounting and payroll packages start from $149.99. For everything else, we give you a written quote after your free consultation, so you know the price before any work begins.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa and Mastercard, Interac e-Transfer, cash and cheque.
Do you have an office, or is everything online?
Both. Most of our work can be done remotely, but you're always welcome to visit our office at 10 Milner Business Court, Suite 504, Scarborough, ON M1B 3C6. We love meeting clients in person.
Do you outsource any of your work?
No. Aspire Business Solutions Inc. is 100% Canadian owned and operated, and all work, including tax returns, is done by our own team.
Is my information kept private?
Yes. Your information is kept confidential and is never shared with anyone outside our team. If you need to send us sensitive documents, ask us for a secure way to share them rather than attaching them to a regular email.
What is a grant?
A grant is funding from a federal, provincial or municipal government agency or program, given to a business, non-profit or charity to pay for a specific project or activity.
Does Aspire give out grants?
No. Grants come from government and other funding bodies. We find the programs you qualify for, prepare a strong application, and help with reporting after you're approved.
What types of grants are available?
Most business grants fall into three groups: business expansion, hiring and training, and research and development. There are also grants for non-profits and charities running projects that benefit the community.
Are there grants for charities and non-profits?
Yes. Several federal and provincial programs fund specific programs and activities run by charitable and non-profit organizations.
Do I have to pay a grant back?
No, government grants don't need to be repaid. Some government programs offer small business loans instead, and those do need to be repaid.
How much funding could I receive?
It depends on the program's total budget, the size of your project, and the size of your business or organization. Amounts range from a few thousand dollars to hundreds of thousands.
How long does approval take?
It varies by program. Generally, the larger the program and the more money involved, the longer the approval process.
How soon will I receive the money?
For most programs, funding arrives within six to eight weeks of approval. Larger grants, such as for business expansion or research and development, can take six months or more, and some are paid out in stages as you reach milestones.
What is the success rate?
There are no guarantees. Approval depends on the quality of your application, how well it addresses the program's goals, and how many strong applications the program receives. Applying to the right program makes a big difference, and that's where we help most.

How long will my tax return take?
Once your return is prepared, your account representative contacts you within one business day to get your approval before filing.
Will I get a copy of my return?
Yes. Once your return is filed, we send you a PDF copy you can save or print.
Can I use your service for my first tax return?
Yes, whether it's your first return or you've filed elsewhere before.
Where is your tax service available?
Because we work remotely, we can file returns for individuals anywhere in Canada.
